What if you gave yourself four days to finally exhale?
What if you gave yourself four days to go looking for a little magic?
Not metaphorical magic.
Actual, light-up-the-night, holy crap, look at that kind of magic.
Imagine standing in the woods after dark, watching fireflies blink through the trees.
Imagine sitting around a campfire with nowhere you need to be.
Imagine waking up somewhere beautiful, grabbing your coffee, and wandering outside simply because you can.
Imagine making something with your hands. Eating a meal you didn't have to cook. Laughing with women you may have just met. Hiking through the woods. And, yes, going on a llama hike because apparently this is the kind of retreat where llamas are involved.
That’s Where the Wild Things Glow: A four-day nature adventure created around wonder, connection, and restoration.
We're really good at taking care of everyone else.
But how often do you get to simply show up somewhere beautiful and let someone else take care of the details?
That's part of what I want this weekend to be. You won't have to figure out what's for dinner. You won't have to plan the activities. You won't have to create an itinerary. You won't have to organize the group. Once you're at the lodge, the transportation is taken care of.
Instead, I'll lead hikes on the property. We'll have a real life chef preparing our meals. And you'll have plenty of room to decide what you need in any given moment.
AND THEN THERE ARE THE FIREFLIES.
There is something pretty extraordinary about being outside after dark and watching the landscape begin to glow. Tiny flashes of light appearing in the trees.
One. Then another. Then another. Until the darkness doesn't feel quite so dark anymore. It's the kind of thing you can photograph, sure.
But I'm much more interested in the moment when you forget to pull out your phone camera, because you can’t stop thinking:
“Oh my gosh.”
There’s a reason why my entire sleeve tattoo is based around fireflies: they remind us of the magic that surrounds us every day. I want us to experience that together.
But this isn’t just a firefly trip.
Because four days is a long time to spend just waiting around for darkness to fall.
I don't want to rush through the rest of the experience just to get to the fireflies.
I want the whole four days to feel like an adventure. We'll hike the property together. We'll gather around campfires. We'll create a piece of art to take home. We'll go on a llama hike. We'll eat meals prepared for us by a chef.
We'll have time to explore, rest, talk, laugh, wander, and simply be outside.
There will be plans. Ones that you didn’t have to make.
But there will also be space. To breathe. To relax. To put everything down. To find the magic within yourself.
So, come join us. Come as you are: tired, curious, excited, a little nervous, ready for an adventure. We’ll take care of the details.

I can't promise exactly what the fireflies will do.
Nature gets the final say.
But I can promise that we're going to make a whole lot of room for wonder. We'll slow down. We'll get outside. We'll eat well. We'll laugh. We'll wander. We'll sit around fires.
And we'll see what happens when we give ourselves permission to step out of ordinary life for a few days.
